1 hour 30 minutes.
Suitable for
All members of staff, or other persons, who may have cause to use a portable fire extinguisher.
Aims of Course
To enable the student to tackle a fire in its incipient stages, in the correct manner, using the correct extinguisher medium.
On completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Identify suitable extinguishers in relation to class of fire;
- Understand the operation of more than one type of extinguisher on a 'live' fire; or
- Tackle small fires with confidence as a result of 'hands on' training.
Price
- £175 per course held at the Fire Service Training Centre plus the cost of any training materials used.
- £185 per course held on customer’s premises plus the cost of any training materials used.
