Policies, Plans & Procedures Our Fire & Rescue Service On Monday 30th June 2003 the Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. John Prescott MP, published the Government's White Paper on the Fire Service, entitled 'Our Fire and Rescue Service'.
Since its publication, the Fire and Rescue Service has undergone a period of unprecedented change with the introduction of new legislation to ensure that today's Service continues to meet the increasing expectations and demands of all our citizens and communities.
