Health & SafetyRisk AssessmentRisk assessment is the process of deciding the magnitude of risks identified in an organisation. Official definitions include:'Identifying the hazards present in any undertaking and then evaluating the extent of the risks involved, taking into account whatever precautions are already being taken' (from the Approved Code of Practice to the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999).
