Local Fire StationsDarlington
History and Background Opened by Councillor J.S.McLoughlin on the 18th January 1973 the Station is situated on the inner ring road (4 St Cuthberts Way) and serves a population of over 100,000 people. Its turnout area is approximately 70 square miles. High risks that are covered by Darlington include Teesside International Airport, main East Coast Rail Line, the A1 motorway, Darlington Memorial Hospital and several large industrial estates. Darlington Fire Station is south of the County and is bordered by Cleveland Fire Brigade and North Yorkshire Fire Brigade. Appliances and Equipment
