History and Background
The Station is located in Wilson Street, Barnard Castle, having been built in 1969. Personnel currently train every Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning and do additional work on Saturday mornings. This includes visiting high risk sites in the area, checking and maintaining all hydrants and, systematically performing community fire safety work in the Barnard Castle area.
