    District Station Manager

    District Station Managers are responsible for the smooth running of the District’s stations, Fire and Rescue Service activities, attendances at emergencies, and importantly, public and staff safety.

    Your District Station Manager will be able to provide advice on local community safety initiatives, the activities of the Local Authority Community Safety Partnership and all other general enquiries about the Service and its staff.

    Assistant District Station Manager

    Your Assistant District Station Manager supports the work of the District Station Manager and will be happy to answer your queries relating to the general running of the District’s stations and Fire and Rescue Service activities.

    District Legislative Fire Safety Officer

    Your District Legislative Fire Safety Officer has a statutory role to provide advice and guidance on fire safety and ensure the public safety in businesses, places of work, schools, residential homes and other properties throughout County Durham and Darlington.

    If you have any questions or concerns relating to fire safety – your District Legislative Fire Safety Officer will be happy to hear from you.

    District Community Safety Officer

    Your District Community Safety Officer can provide information on fire safety and accident prevention in your home. Officers also work with education providers and local authorities on a wide range of community safety initiatives and offer a comprehensive range of advice, services and resources for all age groups.

    Community Support Officer

    Your Community Support Officer supports the work of the District Community Safety Officer and will be happy to answer your queries relating to Community Safety activities, advice and information.
