Navigation
We have broken down the navigation system within the site to try and make it easier to find information. Each section (e.g. Community Safety) has its own home page with an overview of its contents. The Site Map contains an overview of the contents of the whole website and a listing of the site's contents by subject.

In addition, at the top of each page, you will find a 'breadcrumb trail' which shows you where you are within the structure of the website.

Design
The design is mainly text-based to aid accessibility and to minimise download times. The default font size (on a Medium browser setting at a screen resolution of 800 x 600) is Helvetica 10 point, but you can override this if you wish using your own browser settings. Instructions on how to do this can be found on our 'Help' page.
