YOUR LOCAL DISTRICT FIRE AND RESCUE COMMUNITY TEAM

County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service has created six new District teams to provide you with ‘on your doorstep’ community safety support and advice.

“The modern Fire and Rescue Service has an increasing role in providing local communities and businesses with advice and support on a wide range of matters, including fire legislation, community safety, improvement initiatives and accident prevention advice.

"Much of our safety work is now being delivered by firefighters at fire stations; the new District teams will offer greater support to our crews and increased access to support and advice which will help protect the people who we serve – you."
