The Section has responsibility for the administration of Fire Safety Legislation in the community, focusing on the following key legislation:- The Fire Safety Order 2005, Licensing Act 2003, Building Regulations 2000, Housing Act 2004, Care Standards Act 2000. Thus, ensuring that the core aims of the Service are achieved in protecting and improving the community.
